Photos from Aswan

On the occasion of having actually managed to get our car legalised into Egypt, including acquiring Arabic number plates and Egyptian insurance, circumventing attempted bribery and completing much form filling, I have posted some photos our soon-to-end stay in Aswan. It's been two weeks, so I feel like I live here. In fact, the felucca captains have stopped hassling us for trade, which is a sure sign that we are considered locals. Warning, there are quite a few pictures. There are ancient faces, cats, boats, foul bowls, graffiti in serif font, Nubian architecture, some sacred altars, as well as graphic images of smitings.
